Access & Boundaries

This page sets clear expectations ~ for how the studio works, how access is handled, and what you can expect when engaging with Needlewitch Studios.

It is not a checklist or a performance. It is a framework for working together respectfully.

Access & inclusion

Needlewitch Studios is intentionally queer-affirming and neurodivergent-aware.

Identity, access needs, and communication differences are treated as normal considerations, not special requests. You do not need to justify your identity or educate me in order to be respected here.

Access needs can be discussed calmly and practically at the point of enquiry or booking.

What this usually looks like:

  • clear written information

  • predictable session structure

  • advance notice of what to expect

  • flexibility around communication format where possible

Not everything can be adapted, but requests are received in good faith and considered honestly.

Teaching environment

Teaching is structured, paced, and designed to be predictable.

I prioritise:

  • clear instructions

  • repeatable processes

  • time for practice

  • learning environments that value focus over performance

Learning still requires effort. Support does not mean the removal of standards.

Boundaries & capacity

This studio operates on a limited, scheduled basis.

I do not offer:

  • on-demand teaching

  • last-minute availability

  • unlimited emotional support

  • speculative consultations

These boundaries exist to protect the quality of the work, the learning environment, and my own capacity.

Communication

Clear communication is expected on all sides.

This means:

  • using agreed channels

  • providing relevant information up front

  • respecting stated response times

  • understanding that a response may be “no” or “not at this time”

Urgency on your part does not create urgency on mine.

Respect & conduct

This is a working studio and learning space.

Discrimination, harassment, or disrespect, including around gender, sexuality, disability, race, or body, will not be tolerated.

Respect, consent, and accountability are baseline expectations, not optional values.

If this page gives you relief

That’s intentional.

It likely means you’ve spent time navigating spaces where access was unclear, boundaries were fuzzy, or expectations shifted without warning.

This studio is designed to be different ~ calm, legible, and serious about the work.

If you can meet that with care and effort, you are welcome here.
